So, do you remember that quirky American Fox TV drama Ally McPeel? Well, apparently it was sooooo good that the UK created a spin-off involving this male Peel character who also knew a thing or two about music. Long story short – this has little to do with soccer, but lots of great bands made their debut on the Peel smile time variety hour. Like Cher.
