Rafa has certainly taken blaming his own players to the level of an artform, but is Mourinho’s refereeing complaints that much more obnoxious?

Still, the Rafa-running-on-air storyline just may be more interesting than the Blues-Red Devils race at the (yawn) top

Shortly after the goal when Babel sclaffed that free kick out for a throw-in on the far side, a friend texted me to say “He has undone all his good work”. Now to do that he would have technically had to slice the kick so badly that it flew backwards 80 yards past Reina.

I wasn’t ruling it out.
